Tommy, Lyla and I spent this Thanksgiving at our house in Jacksonville. This is the first year that we have not traveled to NC to see our families, but since I was 36 weeks pregnant that was out of the question. I cooked my first Thanksgiving meal including a whole turkey and it turned out pretty well. I made turkey, dressing, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, mac & cheese, rolls, & pumpkin pie. We got up and watched the parade while cooking the meal. We Skyped with Lyla's Nanas & Papas so she could tell them Happy Thanksgiving. Lyla enjoyed her meal, especially the pie. After all of us took a post lunch nap, we went to the playground. We had a good relaxing day together. The rest of the weekend we shopped, wrapped presents and put up the Christmas decorations.
