Lyla's End of Year Party

Lyla had an end of the year party at preschool. I was in charge with two other moms, which is why I didn't take many pictures. I brought the paper goods and a craft. I found cute pencil boxes with a chalk board top and they decorated them with foam stickers. They seemed to enjoy it and Lyla still has her pencil box but keeps jewelry in it, not pencils. Here is a picture of them on the "green line." They had just come in from the playground and they stand on the line until Ms. Amanda calls them forward to wash their hands. Then they find their seat at the table to eat.
Lyla usually eats her pizza crust first. And its not even stuffed crust.
Lyla had a great first year (half year) of preschool. I'm so glad Ms. Amanda had an opening for her in her class after Christmas. I can't wait until next year!

A Very Special Mother's Day! - Caroline's Dedication

Tommy's parents and my parents visited for Mother's Day weekend because it was also the weekend Caroline was dedicated at our church. Saturday morning, we all went to the park to play and fly Lyla's princess kite. Caroline, only four months old, slept through most of the fun.
My dad took these cute pictures of Caroline in her swing and bouncy seat.
Sunday morning before Caroline's dedication, our church hosted a breakfast for the families with babies being dedicated. They also took family pictures which I will always cherish. I'm so glad all of our parents could be there, just like they were for Lyla's dedication 2 1/2 years ago.
Caroline didn't cry at all and fell asleep in my arms as she was dedicated to the Lord.
Our church puts a picture of the baby on the big screen while the preacher dedicates the baby. Here is the picture we chose for Caroline beside of the picture we used for Lyla. Can you tell who is who? Scroll down below the pictures for the correct answer. :)

Oh, how I love my little look a like girls. They are so beautiful inside and out. Oh, and that is Lyla on the left and Caroline on the right. They are both about 4 months old in these pictures.

After church, we went out for a Mother's Day brunch at Mimi's Cafe, where Caroline slept and everyone else enjoyed their yummy food. Once we got home, we had to take some pictures starting with me and my sweet little angels.
Then a family picture of the four of us.

My lovely Mother's Day gifts. Beautiful flowers, a card, and a framed picture from Lyla that she made at school.
What a wonderful weekend full of memories!
