Lyla has been due for a haircut for quite sometime. We are finally able to get her hair into a ponytail, so I was hesitant to cut it, but it was getting pretty straggly. We went to a place we had not been before called Doodle Doos, which is just for kids. We went with Lyla's BFF Anna Claire and her mom to make it more fun. Unfortunately, my camera died while we were there so I didn't get any pics of the girlies together. Lyla chose to watch Dora (shocking!) and sit in the choo choo train to get her haircut. They started by painting her fingernails with sparkles. So cute!!
This is Lyla's hairdresser, Summer. Lyla still wants to know everyone's name, so she still talks about Summer, days after her haircut.
Summer gave Lyla a basket full of hairclips and let Lyla choose the colors she wanted to wear. Notice the cartoon daze.
Here is Lyla after her haircut and style. They put glitter in her hair too which is so cute, but I am still finding it in there after washing her hair several times. 
I think we will continue to go to Doodle Doos to get her haircut. We liked Sweet & Sassy, but it's a longer drive and you don't get to sit in a train.
