Once we got back to Florida, we decided Lyla could pick out her "big pumpkin." We took her to a local pumpkin patch to pick it out. She loved running around the patch and looking at the decorations which included mostly cows and scarecrows.
Lyla is still crazy over Dora, so Tommy decided to carve Dora's face into Lyla's pumpkin. We thought Lyla would love to help scoop the insides out of the pumpkin, but she thought it was really yucky and didn't want anything to do with it.
So, we let her paint her little pumpkin from NC while Tommy carved the big pumpkin. She loves to paint.
Here they are with the finished product. Lyla looked at Dora's face and said "I love it." Tommy did a great job and it looks just like Dora.
